People who have worked to subvert democracy, or openly intend to, have no business serving in any level of government and should be barred for life from public office.
This applies to Donald Trump and everyone else who peddled his myth, blatantly telegraphed months in advance, of a stolen 2020 election, and continue to do so. While we are fighting for a much more democratic electoral system, what Trump and his fellow fascists did was an attempt to eliminate whatever semblance of democracy we currently have and replace it with an outright fascist dictatorship.
